The Chester
Heritage Society
Established in 1981 as a registered charity, the Chester Municipal Heritage Society promotes the municipality's heritage by preserving historically significant properties and providing educational programs for the enjoyment and benefit of present and future generations.

Balsam Fir Christmas Tree Capital of the World
Chester Basin's Prescott Joudrey carries Christmas trees sometime in the 1940s, to a pick up spot, then to a wagon with a team of Oxen or horses.
